Help for people in need

Worldwide, countless people in emergency and conflict situations rely on medical devices. Particularly children affected by amputations or physical deformities suffer from health consequences and lack of social participation.

To give them new hope and quality of life, the Ottobock Global Foundation is involved in aid and donation campaigns to facilitate access to prostheses, orthoses and wheelchairs. In doing so, it relies on a global network and partnerships with international aid organizations.

Help for the Children of Gaza

Due to ongoing hostilities, the entire infrastructure in Gaza has collapsed. In addition to food and other essential supplies, there is a severe lack of clean water. Most hospitals have been destroyed, and they report a significant number of amputations that require urgent care. They report a large number of amputations that need to be treated. Read more

The Ottobock Global Foundation supports the orthopedic care of children and adolescents worldwide. Together with a global network of cooperations, we are able to provide direct and needs-based assistance on-site.

Our collaboration with the nonprofit organizations Pro Uganda and Sprung ins Leben – Salto hacia la vida e.V. in Ecuador, as well as with the missionary hospital Diospi Suyana in the Peruvian Andes, are just a few examples.
